Meet our Vocal Coach Alexis Hollins

Alexis Hollis (Voice Coach)

After moving to Atlanta in 2001, Alexis began working as a professional singer/songwriter. Soon becoming the very first winner of McDonald's "The Gift" Singing Competition, taking home over $12,000 in cash, performances on Good Day Atlanta, the Stellar Awards, and more. It then, began her journey of winning 1st place in 23 of the 25 singing competitions she would go on to compete in. It's safe to say, Alexis is no stranger to winning! Her resume includes working as a studio reference vocalist for Universal and some of your favorite artists/producers for over 12 years and counting.  Alexis has been a background vocalist for Grammy-award winning artist, Monica since 2015, and has shared the stage all over the country and internationally with various artists, including Kirk Franklin, Ledisi, Bebe Winans, Patti LaBelle and more! As an actress, Alexis has been seen in various theater productions including Tyler Perry's "Madea's Neighbors from Hell" (Live/DVD), Black Nativity and, you guessed it, MORE! Maybe you've seen her on BET's "Sunday Best", maybe you've heard her (Will & Alexis) single, "Victory" on the radio, maybe you've seen her on the internet singing at The Sangersroom.
